"The responsibility for each person’s social, emotional, spiritual, physical or economic well-being rests first upon himself, second upon his family, and third upon the Church if he is a faithful member thereof. No true Latter-day Saint, while physically or emotionally able, will voluntarily shift the burden of his own family’s well-being to someone else.”
President Spencer W. Kimball

Financial Assistance

Students completing the internship credit required for graduation must pay tuition on those credits. We recognize that doing an unpaid internship while also covering tuition costs can be financially challenging. To help ease this burden, there are potential scholarships and financial aid opportunities available. See links below for more information.

  1. Visit BYU's main Financial Aid page to learn how you can apply for financial assistance and get a chance at some of those scholarships.
  2. If you are within the comms major, visit the School of Communications Scholarships and Awards page to see what additional opportunities you could qualify for.
  3. For international internships through BYU, visit the Kennedy Center website and take the four-minute survey at the top of the page to find which scholarships you qualify to apply for.
