QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT
- Completed Sophomore year of college or more.
- Pursuing a degree in communications, public relations, advertising, marketing, or journalism.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- General written and oral communication skills
- Creative mindset, attention to detail, and an interest in storytelling.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES
The Communications Intern will support the Marketing and Communications Department across marketing, communications, and community engagement initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the social media calendar and assisting with content creation.
- Supporting internal communications, including newsletters, intranet updates, and other employee communication platforms.
- Contributing to brand storytelling and messaging around WCF's value propositions.
- Assisting with public relations and advertising projects.
- Supporting community engagement events, including logistics, content creation, and highlighting community impact.
