QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with an eye for clarity, grammar, and tone.
- Interest in PR, journalism, communications, marketing, or brand storytelling.
- High degree of ownership over the quality of deliverables
- Comfortable researching opportunities and managing small projects end-to-end.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES
We’re looking for a motivated Communications Intern to support our growing marketing and external communications efforts. This role is perfect for someone who loves writing, storytelling, and building brand visibility. You’ll work closely with our communications and leadership team on projects that directly impact how the world sees our company.
What You'll Do:
- Draft, edit, and format press releases, announcements, and external communications.
- Research and apply for industry awards, rankings, lists, and speaking opportunities.
- Support public relations efforts, including media outreach, journalist targeting, and maintaining press lists.
- Assist with story mining inside the company—gathering wins, milestones, customer stories, and updates that can be shared externally.
- Help monitor press coverage, analytics, and brand mentions.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Leadership on messaging and launch timelines.
- Maintain consistency across external brand voice, tone, and style.
