Previous experience running google adwords and/or pay per click advertising on social media - and a passion to master it.
Enjoys A/B Testing site copy and writing ad copy!
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES
Design and send out monthly newsletter "Magic Monthly" (Contains a joke, a free magic trick, and promotional element to keep Explorers fun and top of mind)
Write web copy for target landing/sales pages (site is built on WIX)
Improve SEO through blog content an adding resources to website
Drive traffic to the site through social media and adwords, specifically the pages we are A/B testing for conversion
Key Performance Indicators would be increasing traffic to site, increasing sign ups to newsletter, requests for free samples, and of course sales. Identifying the best keywords to focus on and platforms to advertise on until customer acquisition cost is low enough that we can confidently ramp up our ad spend knowing we will get an immediate return.

Magic Explorers is a small startup with 4 employees currently and we are ready to grow! We sell what we call Magic Activity Packs or MAPs. Magic Activity Packs are custom designed, punch out, cardboard magic tricks designed to help elementary aged kids build confidence, empathy, and grit.
We sell them in bulk to Schools, Summer Camps, Libraries, Churchs, and Aftercare programs to help kids unplug from technology, to look up and to think of others. We are a new company looking for a super ambitious Marketing Manager (Wizard) that is excited to experiment and help us identify both our ideal target market and the best messaging and strategies to reach them. We need help finding customers and turning them into long-term raving fans. The goal is to sell 158,000,000 over the next 10 years. Plus help orphanages in Nepal in the process.
