QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT
Any student interested in publishing or editing. Prior experience at student journals or similar is prefered but not required.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES
Perform copyediting, formatting, and publication tasks as required under the supervision and guidance of journal editors. These tasks include: ensuring accepted manuscripts conform to publication requirements, ensuring correct spelling and punctuation of accepted manuscripts, ensuring metadata is correct, formatting manuscripts using markdown language such as Typst or LaTeX, assigning DOIs to published manuscripts, ensuring published manuscripts are uploaded to relevant preservation databases.
