Stan Richards is the CEO of The Richards Group – an Advertising firm based out of Dallas.
Owner and CEO of the largest independent ad agency in the US, Stan Richards, will be visiting CFAC students Monday April 14 at 11:30 a.m. in the HBLL auditorium with a Q&A session at 12:30 p.m. During his address, he will discuss advice on the advertising industry and careers in the communications field.
His prominent ad firm boasts $1.3 billion in billings, 700 employees and counting and is headquartered in Dallas, Tex. Over the course of his career, he has had the opportunity to call businesses such as Home Depot, AAA Insurance, Orkin, and Chick-fil-a clients.
Richards is the recipient of the Riddick Award from the University of Texas and the AIGA Gold Medal. In 1997, Graphis magazine named his firm one of the 10 best agencies in the world, and the American Association of Advertising Agencies honored the firm with its A+ Award. In 2007, Graphic Design USA named the firm one of America’s six most influential agencies.
Richards and his wife are the parents of two adult sons and currently live in Dallas.
