65 years after its editorial debut, the Daily Universe is entering a new phase
The Daily Universe, BYU’s student newspaper, won 28 awards from the 2019 National Newspaper Association Contest, including first place for General Excellence in the college division and first place for Best Newspaper Website in the daily and non-daily college division.
The Daily Universe staff won 13 awards in Utah Press Association’s 2019 Better Newspaper Contest and BYU students won six awards from the Society of Professional Journalists Region 9 in its Mark of Excellence contest.
Students in the School of Communications have won awards in everything from advertising to broadcast journalism at regional, national and international levels.
