Todd Irwin will present on navigating communication professions in the annual Beckham Lecture Series.
Todd Irwin will share how
to “Navigate Communications Professions in an Era of #selfies, #equality and #fakenews” for the second lecture in the annual School of Communications Beckham Lecture Series.
Irwin is the managing director of the global communications firm Zeno Group. He is responsible for the firm’s technology practice and runs three offices in California. He founded the Silicon Valley office in 2011 and the San Francisco office in 2016, and has revitalized the firm’s Los Angeles presence. Irwin’s teams run some of the firm’s largest clients, including Salesforce, Intel and Kia.
Irwin began his career in New York working for BYU alum Stephen Coltrin at Coltrin & Associates. After six years in New York City, Irwin was selected to open the firm’s Silicon Valley office, where he managed the firm’s largest client, a data networking company that is now part of HP Enterprise, and led crisis communications and technology PR for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City.
Irwin brings creative solutions and strategic media partnerships for companies of all shapes and sizes, from the most innovative startups to some of the best known global technology brands. Irwin leads his teams in the “Fearless Pursuit of the Unexpected,” Zeno’s mission statement, and hopes to help students navigate communications professions in today’s world.
Students and alumni will have the chance to visit, before and after the lecture, to participate in mentoring and networking opportunities.
