What makes me unique:

I grew up in Houston and Seattle. I loved my time in the BYU PR program and was PRSSA president my senior year. After graduating from BYU in 2011, I moved back to Seattle and worked at Weber Shandwick for just over 4 years in the Seattle and DC offices. I started in a consumer tech role, then moved into health care. My passion lies in hospital PR work. I held an in-house PR position at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC after leaving Weber and now lead PR and marketing for a nonprofit organization that rates hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) on quality and safety. I’m passionate about how PR can be used to create change and educate consumers that they have options when it comes to where they seek health care. My husband is getting his MBA at Baylor University, so we are living in Waco, Texas until Spring 2020. My CEO is allowing me to work from home. This is one of the great things about PR — ability to do your job from anywhere.
