QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT
- Current or previous marketing undergraduate
- Must have strong writing and editing skills
- Hard worker who is a "doer" first; must be ready to roll sleeves up
- Highly motivated and eager to make an impact on the organization
- Lacrosse background and knowledge of the league is a plus
- Ability to work nights and weekends
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES
- Storyboard carousels for league and team social accounts to past that further our season-long plots and subplots
- Script micropods for PLL and TLN talent
- Research and write editorial briefs for the media and marketing team ahead of the game weekends
- Write email newsletters that deliver our biggest storylines to fans on a weekly basis
- Write copy that drives tune-in to our Game of the Week across email, web, and app
- Publish stories to the PLL website and app
- Tag stories to appear in the correct pages and trays within the web and app
- Monitor Google Search Console and use SEO best practices when updating articles and web pages
