COMPANY NAME AND BRIEF DESCRIPTION
NASA invites students pursuing degrees in journalism, communications, media relations, science writing, convergence journalism, or broadcast journalism to join our science storytelling program. You'll gain hands-on experience as you collaborate with a leading team of writers and multimedia producers to create and share content from NASA's most exciting science missions, including mind-bending results from the Hubble and Webb Telescopes, new perspectives of our surprisingly dynamic moon from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, stories of our changing planet from NASA's remote sensing satellites, and breaking news from the surface of the Sun. Our internships aim to provide students with comprehensive exposure to the many moving parts of our bustling newsroom.
Students interested in exploring the intersection between print, broadcast journalism, and social media are encouraged to apply. Interns will work on complex communications campaigns as they create web features, newsletter articles, press conferences, videos, media interviews, social media posts, video streams, satellite media tours, and video news releases.
