Hours per Week: Work schedule is flexible. Intern will be given tasks for each week to be completed. The number of hours is flexible based on student’s needs for academic credit.
Intern will be expected to meet virtually once a month, however, communication via email, text, and video chat are always recommended.

QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT
The ideal applicant for this job will have strong video and social media ability, demonstrate an ability to follow instructions and have an eagerness to learn. They must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
Those with passion for video editing, sharing video on social media, and optimizing videos are preferred.
We’d love for you to have a passion for a job that makes an impact for good like we do in healthcare, but experience with healthcare is not necessary.
Preference will be given to individuals who have experience with Video Editing, social media video sharing, graphic design (using Photoshop/Gimp or Canva), Google Drive, and who have knowledge of social media (specifically Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube)
Individuals must be committed to the mission of BYU and demonstrate high ethical character.
Preference will be given to students seeking to get educational credit. You must be willing to commit to the entire semester.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES
- Optimize existing video content for sharing on social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
- Write and schedule social media video content
- Edit and produce video clips from existing video interviews to optimize them for social media sharing
- Optimize Social Video Sharing
- Perform social media video statistics research and analysis
- Write content for HITMC.com including results from social video sharing campaigns
- Assist in other social media campaigns
- Explore new video opportunities to drive traffic to content or events
- Evaluate and test new social video options and approaches
