QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT

Minimum qualifications:
• Experience or class/lab projects working on data-driven communications projects
• Ability to set clear priorities and deliverables across multiple strategy streams
• Excellent personal, analytical, and communication skills and high attention to detail

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience managing group projects both inside or outside of a classroom setting
• Graphic design skills such as: Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft, Sketch, Canva Pro etc.
• Video editing skills such as Adobe Premiere Pro
• Understanding of data analytics or statistics
• Ability to work in the role for at least two semesters
• Finished Comms 318 and Comms 333

DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES

• Serve as liaison between client and student team
• Create a semester timeline through task management and update it accordingly throughout the semester
• Master the data collection & analysis methods of the lab
• Curating News on PR Intelligence & writing thought leadership pieces
• Create travel plans as well as a video and other promotional content of the trip.
• Additional responsibilities may be added as assigned

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will report to Lab manager, Michael Burke, and will be responsible for delivering research reports to clients at the end of the semester. This includes being the main gatekeeper of the client relationship, advocating for the PR Intelligence Lab externally, and coordinating and leading meetings with various stakeholders.

You will help clients execute data-driven communications initiatives within their organizations by understanding their communication problems and assisting them in crafting a research plan that addresses their specific concerns or questions. Examples of projects you may work on include Audience Analysis, YouTube Analytics Research, Social Media Research, Audience Research, Content Analysis, Media Reporting, and Message Testing and Analysis.
