QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT
- Prior experience and/or coursework in Public Relations or Journalism.
- Excellent writing and speaking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with MuckRack or similar platforms also preferred, but not required.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES
- Drafting press releases and media alerts, preferably in AP Style
- Mastery of MuckRack database management for media list creation, as well as monitoring press coverage and preparing client reports.
- Research and identification of influencers for marketing campaigns.
- Participating in team brainstorms and client meetings.
- Complete other tasks as required.
