QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT
● Strong organizational and planning skills
● Attention to detail
● Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
● Ability to handle confidential and time-sensitive material
● Familiarity and/or interest in editorial, social or web practices and procedures are a plus
● Ability to effectively communicate via phone, email and in person
● Experience meeting deadlines and setting priorities
● Ability to collaborate with a team
● Ability to troubleshoot and offer solutions
● Experience with the arts preferred
● Longevity preferred - commitment of at least two semesters (8-12 months)
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES
● Help with creating monthly reports to track analytics
● Assist with office recruiting, including training the office on recruiting processes
● Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
● Assist with strategic planning and executing campaigns
● Produce and distribute internal and external correspondence
● Assist in the preparation of reports
● Maintain digital and manual filing systems
● Order office supplies
● Research and create presentations
● Monitor invoices and other budget materials
● Maintain and update workflows
● Attend, run and take minutes at internal and external meetings
● Draft and send emails to faculty, staff and students

COMPANY NAME AND BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The award-winning College of Fine Arts and Communications’ External Relations team writes all of the event press releases, assists in marketing production, creates and supports all websites and assists the college's dean. The team also oversees the college's social media pages, as well as the School of Communications, Department of Dance, Department of Theatre and Media Arts and the School of Music social media accounts.
