QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification or progress towards degree (minimum of 2 years completed) in Marketing, Communications, or other closely related field, or two (2) years of experience in Content Development and Marketing.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in community outreach, WordPress, social media platforms, and/or analytic tools.

- Marketing principles and practices

- Write and develop content creatively

DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develops timely, engagement-focused content for social media platforms and email marketing (may involve attendance of client or Division events for the purpose of content creation)
- Collaborates with other Marketing staff to plan and schedule social media content calendar
- Research up-to-date strategies and tools to support online engagement efforts
- Assists with maintaining content for both venue digital screens and website
- Monitors online presence for Division venues and services
- Assists with research, data gathering, and reporting to support Division community engagement strategy
- Supports implementation of community engagement initiatives and projects through content creation and day-of event assistance.
- Provides additional support for marketing campaigns and community engagement projects as needed
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work duties are typically performed in a general office setting. May be required to lift, carry, push and/or pull items with a strength factor of light work; sit or stand for extended periods; climb a step stool/ladder and reach above shoulders; bend at the waist, kneel or crouch.
Additional Information
- Must work less than an average of 129 hours per month.
- Are not eligible for County benefits except as otherwise provided for by policy.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THIS POSITION
This position may be required to work nights and weekends in conjunction with venue performance schedules and community engagement activities.
