Wage/Salary: Paid Internship. $1,000 for projects successful completion of its three objectives. A significant additional bonus (TBD) will be awarded when the second objective of the project is completed. Payment and bonus will be paid as Objective Two progresses.

  • Objective One: Social media marketing for website (SEO)
  • Objective Two: Social media marketing/promotion for crowdfunding campaign using the 'GiveSendGo.com' platform
  • Objective Three: Create short video clips to be used with the crowdfunding campaign and on our website

This internship can extend for a semester, a full year, or more.

QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT

  • Looking for a student with a love of country, freedoms, liberty who would be excited/passionate about building the online social media, website presence, audience for the Freedom Alliance monument project. 

ABOUT THE PROJECT

We are introducing to America a new historic statue to compliment the Statue of Liberty. Project was started in 2017 and is just now coming to public view with the publication of Founders new book, "America's Freedom Megaphone: The Case to Build the Statue of Enduring Freedom".

DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES

  • Public Relations opportunities to introduce this project to the public through video & digital storytelling. The goal would be to produce compelling 'stories' about the historic nature of the Statue of Enduring Freedom.
  • Need to tell people of their efforts of the statue. Statue is symbolic compliment to Statue of Liberty. Represents freedom moving forward. Has an educational component to it that is outlined but not yet developed.  
  • There will be a supervisor with tech/social media skills for our intern https://www.freedomalliancellc.com/advisory-team.htm but Daniel Bolz is the initial contact while Sean will be the intern supervisor once selected. Daniel and his wife are BYU Alumni
  • Main Needs:
    • Student skilled in social media, branding, outreach to build their online presence through social media, website, increased audience connections/engagement. Connect info from all platforms to lead back to their website where people can support the initiative. 
    • To tell about the foundations mission, monument efforts, new book (that details the monument purpose), educational aspect of the project, and to share about/Promote “GiveSendGo” crowd funding efforts to financially support the project. 
    • Student passionate about America, freedoms, would make this project/internship meaningful to them.
