QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT
- Pursuing or having completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Familiarity with managing various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) and understanding their distinct audiences
- Experience or coursework in marketing principles, especially in digital marketing and social media marketing strategies
- Ability to monitor and analyze social media analytics tools to identify trends and measure campaign success
- Experience with Adobe InDesign for creating and designing digital assets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently, adhering to timelines and deadlines
- Ability to work and collaborate effectively within a marketing team environment
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES
The Church News social media english intern works with the marketing team to develop strategies to grow our communities across multiple platforms and execute those strategies, as well as developing and managing relationships with our readers and potential readers.
Duties may include:
- Manage social media for the Church News english
- Create and implement marketing campaigns
- Monitor analytics to identify trends and opportunities
- Assist with marketing campaign creation
- Research trends and provide competitive analysis
- Creating assets in Adobe InDesign
