We’re on the hunt for a passionate Social Media Strategist Intern to join our pack at Kyonia! Here’s who we’d love to meet:
- Creative Storytellers: You’re studying (or have a degree in) marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field—or you’re a social media star with real-world, proven skills that speak for themselves (no degree or student status needed if you’ve got the chops!).
- Students Welcome: We’re a hybrid role, so you can work from anywhere with occasional in-person collabs. Current students can earn university credit—we’re already set up with the University of Utah and Brigham Young University, and we’re happy to work with other local universities to make it happen for you!
- Pet Lovers with a Spark: You’re excited to connect with pet owners and adventurers through social media, and you’ve got a knack for crafting content that pops. Bonus points if you’ve got a furry friend to join the fun!
- Driven and Collaborative: You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, love working with a tight-knit team, and are eager to grow your skills while making a real impact.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES
What You’ll Do:
Strategy & Content Creation
- Craft multi-platform strategies (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) to connect with pet owners, outdoor enthusiasts, and potential investors.
- Partner with our Founder/Inventor to create scroll-stopping content from our rich media catalog.
Jump in front of the camera or manage influencer partnerships—bonus points if you’ve got a pup to star alongside you!
Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor key metrics (CTR, likes, shares) and refine strategies to amplify engagement and reach.
Experiment with bold ideas as we gear up for big moments—like a potential Shark Tank spotlight.
Brand Building & Publicity
- Support PR and media efforts with a chance to visit our crash test facility in Virginia.
- Ensure our messaging stays sharp and on-brand with our styling guide.
Collaboration & Growth
- Team up with Kyonia’s leadership to set goals and gain actionable feedback.
- Work with our engineering and marketing crews to see how innovation fuels our story.
