- Product ownership/client experience
- IT help desk experience
- AV event support experience
- Able to work 2+ semesters

DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES

Do you love web design and want to gain hands-on experience? Our ideal candidate will be customer focused, professional, proactive, quick to learn, self-motivated and takes feedback well from clients & coworkers. This position will work on Family Home and Social Science's (FHSS) Computing Services Projects Team and often will collaborate with the FHSS Computing Services Web Team and Center for Family History and Genealogy (CFHG) Web Team.

Projects will mostly be assigned on an individual basis but with some consulting with current web developers on the FHSS Projects, FHSS Web, CFHG Web and FHSS Brightspot teams. So teamwork, self-supervising, organization, and clear communication are important in this role. The graphic designer will have multiple projects balance and prioritize.

Current web design projects include: redesigning the Charles Redd Center Webpages, creating new design standards for a new web technology stack, creating/designing Brightspot templates, department branding, with many other web design projects to come!
