QUALIFICATIONS OF APPLICANT
- Proficient with Instagram and Facebook content strategy and trends
- Experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, Capcut (2+ years preferred)
- Strong skills in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva)
- Familiarity with photography and live video production techniques (lighting, audio, camera work)
- Excellent communication, storytelling, the ability to handle multiple projects at once, and time-management skills
- Ability to capture and reflect the BYU Office of Belonging’s tone and message in captions and content
- Professionalism and flexibility to support and interact with different areas of campus
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES
- Plan, create, and publish compelling multimedia content for social media
- Monitor and engage with audiences across social platforms (c community management)
- Film and edit student-focused content, including interviews, event recaps, trends, and campus stories
- Translate conceptual or technical ideas into clear, inspiring messages
- Cover occasional evening events
- Support office-wide communications and special projects
- Track analytics
