Owen Rich, an emeritus member of the communications faculty passed away last week.
Rich was the guiding vision behind KBYU-FM and KBYU-TV, as well as the broadcast program and the Comms graduate program. He remained closely involved with BYU and he initiated an endowment that is awarded to communications students who work for KBYU-FM and BYU Radio.
