The BYU AdLab team has been recognized by the One Club for Creativity, the 2018 Telly Awards and the American Advertising (ADDY) Awards.

BYU advertising and commercial music video advertisement impresses industry professionals and wins students $10,000 scholarship
The BYU AdLab won 10 Regional ADDY Awards and placed first in the district National Student Advertising Competition in San Diego.
Within the BYU School of Communications, Caitlin Carr has found her place in the Advertising program during her time at BYU. Carr recently snagged what she calls her “dream job” and is ready to help other students do the same.
The AAF American Advertising Awards, also known as the “ADDYs,” is the advertising industry’s largest and most anticipated creative competition, receiving more than 40,000 entries every year. The BYU AdLab was among many Utah-based agencies to submit some of their best recent work for consideration. Awards are based on a level of excellence, judged by creative directors from the country’s most innovative agencies. Kyle Curtis, President, AAF-Utah Board of Directors wrote, “If you won an AAF Award this year, congratulations. It means that your work impressed four well-respected creative professionals independently. That’s no small accomplishment.”
How do you show brands you’re grateful for them? If you’re Cat DeLong and Micah Wilkes, creative directors for the Brigham Young University AdLab, a student-run, professionally-mentored ad agency, you spend November producing creative for 30 brands.
